立春 Start of Spring by Yao Peck Lu

This is a complex poem. But I want to publish it unedited. It will be probably better understood by Chinese speakers but I welcome comments from everyone.

立春 Start of Spring 

人们都在庆祝春天到来，而季节在开倒车

第二天更加寒冷

窗外的鹅毛大雪，落在手中是多么晶莹的一片

入夜，雪花化作雨水

将地面的积雪冲刷走

雨水流淌进护城河内，枯草地中

当月亮没有准时在我的窗前报道

她会在哪里？迟到了？

在遥远大海尽头的洞穴中休息

头枕着波涛，睡在海草床上

迟到了，你的心是迟到的月亮

谁知道会错过什么？

People celebrate spring while the season is in reverse

It gets colder the next day

The snow like goose feather outside the window, such a crystal piece in my hand

At night, snowflakes turn into rain

Wash the snow off the ground

The rain flows into the moat, into the dry grass

When the moon is not on time to show up at my window

where will she be? is she late?

Rest in a deep cave of the sea

Sleeping on a seagrass bed with head resting on the waves

It’s late, your heart is the late moon

Who knows what will be missed?

成年人知心朋友不多，月亮，星星，玫瑰

时常谈起的，就这么几个

常伴着黑暗中哀泣的幼兽

弱小，没有獠牙，标准的反派角色将它推下悬崖

最经典的剧情，始作俑者望着它跌落谷底

嘴角泛起胜利的微笑

在谷底等待流血的伤口缓慢结痂…….

As an adult, there are not many close friends, moon, stars, the rose

It’s just a few that are often talked about

Often accompanied by the cub weeping in the dark

Weak, no sharp teeth, the common villain pushes it off a cliff

The most classic plot, the initiator watched it fall to the bottom

A triumphant smile

At the bottom of the valley, waiting for a bleeding wound to slowly scab over…

若是有人来，它会求救

“救救我，别让漫天大雪把我埋葬。”

但是无人来

If anyone comes, it will call for help

“HELP! don’t let the heavy snow bury me.”

but no one came

当你虚弱时，周围尽是真诚的敌人

当你强大时，会环绕着虚伪的朋友

糟糕的恶性循环

曾经被伤害

绝对不是去伤害别人的借口

When you’re weak, you’re surrounded by true enemies

When you’re strong, you’re surrounded by fake friends

bad vicious circle

Been hurt

It’s not an excuse to hurt someone

雪还在随着雨滴飘落

城市像夏天那样活着

最后一次呼叫，春天

在冰天雪地降临

The snow is still falling with the raindrop

The city lives like summer

Last call, spring

arrives in the snow
